Frequently Asked Questions

What is MUN?

Model United Nations, also known as model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. At a MUN conference, students work as the representative of a country, organization, or person, and must solve a problem with other delegates from around the world.

Who can I approach if I need assistance during the conference?

Our Public Relations team’s primary goal is to assist you with anything and listen to your problems! You can seek out a PR team member and if they cannot help you themselves, they will guide you to someone who can.

How can I apply?

You can apply here.

Will participants be given certificates at the end of the conference?

Yes! All delegates who did not miss two whole sessions get their participation certificate.

What resources and materials should a delegate bring to the conference to stay organised and informed?

All the materials you will need during the conference are included in the application fee and will be provided to you during the registration. You can also read the study guides which will be shared before the conference and bring your research documents if you like

Can we change our countries/committees if we don't like them?

Our academic team decides your allocations after a careful evaluation process considering your experiences, your awards and your motivation letter, which means changing it is sadly not possible.
